Taking Pediatrics Nationwide

It’s not every day that one of our clients has an assignment that isn’t directly marketing related. And that’s the case with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and their new national magazine, Pediatrics Nationwide.

The publication is designed to advance the national conversation on child health. Rather than marketing the hospital’s service lines, this publication serves as a place of thought-leadership for an audience of children’s hospitals and pediatric health care providers across the country and around the world. Our job: Plan and implement an efficient and effective web component for the magazine.

PediatricsNationwide.org aims to:

  • Generate thought-provoking dialogue among the hospital’s peer groups.
  • Be a resource for these peer groups.
  • Create a community in which the conversation can continue between issues of the print magazine.
  • Gain content, ideas and topics for future issues from this new community.
  • Provide a forum for leaders outside Nationwide Children’s to contribute content and their own thought leadership.

In working with Nationwide Children’s to create a digital strategy to support the magazine’s launch, we’ve identified six core features of the first phase of the site:

  • Site design that delivers the Pediatrics Nationwide identity and messaging 
  • Responsive website design and development 
  • Feature content & blog integration
  • Photo/video integration 
  • Social media integration 
  • Search engine optimization
